Thank you for choosing min POV, where we connect explorers with local streamers to provide an authentic view of Africa’s vibrant culture and landscapes. These Terms govern your use of our services and are designed to ensure a positive and safe experience for all users.

Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for min POV, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the terms, you should discontinue use of our services immediately.

Eligibility to Use the Services

To access the Services, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are a minor (under the age of legal adulthood in your region) but at least 13, you may only use the Services if your parent or guardian reviews and agrees to these Terms on your behalf before you start using the Services. Individuals younger than 13 are not allowed to access the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you meet these eligibility criteria.

• Impedes another user’s usage and enjoyment of the services.
• Promotes or encourages illegal activity.
• Violates the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.

Content Ownership and Rights

As a user, you retain ownership of the content you create on min POV, including videos and images. However, by posting content to our platform, you grant min POV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license with the right to use, copy, modify, distribute, and publicly display such content in connection with our services. You confirm that you have all the necessary rights to grant this license for any content you submit to min POV.

Safety and Privacy

At min POV, we value the safety of our services and our community of explorers and streamers. However, no service is without its limitations, and it is important to observe the following safety guidelines:

• Please refrain from using min POV as an aid for crossing streets. The environment may present too many unpredictable factors for streamers to guarantee safe navigation.
• min POV is not suited for use in medical emergencies. If you find yourself in an emergency situation, contact your local emergency services directly.
• We advise against sharing sensitive personal information through our platform, including your home address, financial details, and health information.

Terms of Service Overview

These Terms of Service establish guidelines for your interactions with us and other users, and delineate acceptable and unacceptable uses of our Services. Ideally, such rules would not be necessary; however, in reality, they serve to foster responsible usage and ensure the safety and integrity of min POV, as well as provide mechanisms for us to address issues should they arise.

By utilizing our Services, you agree to:

• Engage respectfully with fellow users and the min POV platform.
• Maintain ownership of the content you generate or upload and accept responsibility for this content.
• Grant us a license to use the content you provide.
• Refrain from using the Services for illegal activities or spreading offensive content.
• Avoid downloading, selling, or commercially exploiting min POV without a formal agreement.

How the min POV App Functions

At the heart of our service, min POV enables explorer users to engage with streamers through live video chat, allowing streamers to present specific locations requested by the explorer. The video stream is directional, originating from the explorer and sent to the streamer. Similarly, audio transmission is also unidirectional; only the explorer hears the audio from the streamer, ensuring privacy and control.

min POV simply facilitates these interactions by providing the necessary platform and technology. However, we do not generate nor do we review beforehand the video or image content that is broadcasted over our platform. Consequently, we are not liable for the content that is exchanged via our services.

Service Usage Guidelines

Upon your acceptance and adherence to these Terms of Service, min POV authorizes you to access and utilize the Services either as an explorer or a streamer, as suited to your role. This authorization may be revoked at any time, for any reason, particularly if you breach these Terms of Service.

Your interactions with other service users, both online and offline, are entirely your responsibility. min POV does not hold liability for the actions of any user or for any content exchanged within the service, including photos, audio, or video streams. While min POV has the right to monitor interactions and intervene in disputes, it is under no obligation to do so. You are expected to use your best judgment and common sense during interactions and when sharing any User Content or personal information. You are also responsible for any charges from data use, telecommunications, or other services required to use the Service.
